INDIAN COFFEE
India was the first Asian country to cultivate coffee trees and to this day, Indian coffee varieties are highly prized by gourmets around the world. Because the coffee beans are grown alongside spices, the aroma has hints of cloves, cardamom, pepper, nutmeg and tropical fruits. This makes it difficult to confuse Indian coffees with others.
Compagnia dell'Arabica "India" is a unique and exotic coffee. It has a velvety and creamy nutty flavour enlivened by citrus accents and an aftertaste of traditional spices.

This Arabica coffee comes from the state of Kerala on the south coast of India and has the best monsoon quality. The coffee is called 'monsooned' because after harvesting, the green beans are dried in open warehouses, exposed to the monsoon winds when the rainy season lasts for several weeks. This process reduces the acidity of the beans, increases their sweetness and gives them a straw-yellow colour.
