Kenya is among the top 20 coffee producers in the world. It is grown on volcanic plantations at an altitude of around 2000m above sea level. The rich coffee beans mature under the shade of banana trees. Kenyan coffee is known for its rich flavour with a deep, wine-like acidity and pleasant aroma.
